THE LAKE DISTRICT
The Lake District is the go to location to visit, it is England's largest National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover spectacular landscapes, picturesque villages, a warm welcome and a rich cultural heritage.
Explore the fells, splash about on the lakes, take a wild adventure or simply enjoy the peace. Breathe in and be inspired.
THE YORKSHIRE DALES
The Yorkshire dales includes some of the finest limestone scenery in the UK, from crags and pavements to an underground labyrinth of caves. Each valley or ‘dale’ has its own distinct character, set against expansive heather moorland tops.
Stonebuilt villages sit amongst traditional farming landscapes of field barns, drystone walls and flower-rich hay meadows, and show how the area has been shaped over thousands of years by the people who have lived and worked here.
Spectacular waterfalls and woodland areas contrast with the scattered remains of former mine workings and other rural industries which remind us of the area’s rich industrial heritage.
MORECAMBE BAY
Morecambe bay is famous for its large wide sands and mudflats which are essential for its wildlife and views of the neighbouring Lake District.
It's a diverse area with coastal towns like Morecambe and Grange-over-Sands, offering activities from guided walks across the sands, birdwatching, seaside promenades, and rich maritime heritage.
ARNSIDE AND SIVERDALE
Arnside and Silverdale is an area that is famous for its amazing wildlife, stunning scenery, and superb walks.
CARNFORTH HERITAGE CENTRE
Visit the Carnforth heritage centre and visit the filming location of the 1945 David Lean film Brief Encounter, the breakfast in the Tearooms is highly recommended!

KIRKBY LONSDALE
Kirkby Lonsdale is a picturesque historic market town in Cumbria, known for its charm, independent shops, and stunning location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering beautiful river walks, the medieval Devil's Bridge, and the famous "Ruskin's View". It's a popular base for exploring the surrounding countryside, with ancient roots dating back to the Domesday Book it is also the home to many fantastic pubs and restaurants. The Plough Inn is very highly recommended!
LAKELAND MOTOR MUSEUM
If the weather isn't great this is a fantastic day out visiting a collection of 30000+ exhibits and an indoor café.
LAKELAND WIDLIFE OASIS
Again another fun day out for all ages with indoor and outdoor areas to visit.
